- 4+ years of Java development experience with a deep understanding of modern frameworks
- Experience with real-time communication protocols and multilingual API integrations is a plus
- Proactive in taking ownership of tasks, delivering high-quality code and enhancing coding practices
- Proficiency in RESTful services, microservices architecture and API development
- Comfort with agile methodologies, test-driven development and design patterns
- Genuine care for team dynamics, customer satisfaction and end-user comfort
- Strong spoken and written English and Russian skills
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
You will:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable Java-based backend for our messaging and collaboration app
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate real-time communication features, file sharing, and multilingual support
- Implement AI-powered speech recognition, translation, and live captioning to enhance user experience
- Ensure a secure, reliable, and robust messaging platform that supports real-time file and app sharing
- Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative culture where all contributions are valued
- Propose ideas and implement them in partnership with your team and the client
