What will You do?

  • Develop, Document, and implement fintech applications through understanding business and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Work predominantly from home with occasional travel to head office
  • Tech stack: Progress (ABL, OpenEdge), Openshift, XML reading/ writing (XHTML, XSLT), Javascript, Linux, microservice architecture, SVN, GIT, JIRA, Confluence.

We are looking for

  • Experience: 3+ years in software development, with at least 2+ years as a Progress Developer (OpenEdge/ABL)
  • Database Knowledge: A good understanding of databases
  • Attitude: Proactive, confident, constructive, and rational
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Communication: Good English language skills.
  • Industry experience: Experience in financial or Insurance institutions is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with large-scale systems in banking, insurance, or similar industries.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
  • Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience or interest with Linux systems, relational Database experience, and understanding of microservices architecture
